The MLB Draft lottery results are in after the drawing occurred on Tuesday.

The 18 teams that didn’t make the postseason were thrown into the lottery with the chance of earning top picks for the 2026 draft. The White Sox entered Tuesday with the best odds to land the No. 1 pick, and wound up winning the lottery. It’s the first time since 1977, and just the third in franchise history, that the White Sox have secured the top draft pick.

The team entering the lottery with the worst record was of course the Rockies, who went 43–119 this past season. However, since they selected in the top six in each of the past two years, they were not allowed to do so for a third year in a row, per MLB rules. Colorado ended up in the 10th draft spot.

The 2026 MLB Draft will take place in Philadelphia on July 11–12.

Should Bangladesh have finished it earlier?

We could have finished two or three overs earlier, but we could have lost one or two more wickets. We must prioritise partnerships. We tried to hit more boundaries, but it didn’t happen.”Bangladesh batted at 8.28 runs per over to reach the target with 14 balls to spare. Rangers invested heavily in the summer but, given their current predicament, expect plenty more signings in January too.

What Bailey Cadamarteri would bring to Rangers

Born in Leeds, Cadamarteri joined Sheffield Wednesday as an eight year old, making his senior debut in the EFL Trophy against Leicester City’s under-21s in October 2022.

He did not then feature for the Owls’ first team again for over a year, largely due to surgery, handed his league debut by Röhl against Millwall in November 2023, before scoring his first senior goal during a 3-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers a few weeks later.

He then also netted against Norwich, QPR and Swansea, before spending last season on loan at Lincoln City, scoring eight times in 31 outings for the Imps, his campaign at Sincil Bank cut short by a groin injury suffered mid-way through the season.

Now back at Sheffield Wednesday, given that many of the Owls’ senior players departed during the summer due to financial turmoil, he has started nine of their 12 EFL Championship matches, with the table below documenting his importance to Henrik Pedersen’s side.

As the table emphasises, Cadamarteri has been an integral figure for Wednesday this season, scoring during a 2-2 draw with Wrexham at the Racecourse in August.

He has though had the most shots of any Wednesday player, missing two Opta-defined big chances, while over 18% of his total touches have come in the opposition penalty area, showing that he offers an attacking presence.

Meantime, the 20-year-old has also made an interesting choice when it comes to international football.

After representing England at youth level, he switched his allegiance to Jamaica earlier this year, debuting for the Reggae Boyz in Bermuda in September, scoring against Trinidad & Tobago in Kingston a few days later.

Thus, if Steve McClaren’s team collect four points from their two qualifiers in November, again Trinidad & Tobago and then Curaçao, they’ll be heading for a first World Cup since France ’98, which could give Cadamarteri a platform to increase his exposure and market value, currently valued at around £1.1m by Football Transfers.

Ali Maxwell labels the young striker a “finisher” while Röhl, when the pair were still together in South Yorkshire, described him as “dangerous”.

A report by Total Football Analysis agrees, noting that he ‘consistently moves around to find pockets of space’, while praising his ability to ‘occupy spaces intelligently’ and excellent penalty box positioning.

Thus, it is clear that Cadamarteri is a talented young player, one who could well be available for a slashed price, while he may be eager to re-untie with Röhl north of the border.

Summer signing Chermiti has scored only once for Rangers to date, his first goal for anyone since May 2023, looking very unconvincing overall, while fellow centre-forwards Danilo and Bojan Miovski have only two goals to their name so far this season.

Given the dearth of quality in Rangers’ striker department, the young Jamaican international could come in and be first-choice from the word go, firing the Gers up the table.

The Dodgers secured back-to-back World Series titles over the weekend with a thrilling Game 7 win over the Blue Jays. The 2025 Fall Classic was an awesome series and Los Angeles emerged the victor. It writes the franchise into the history books as a true modern dynasty and leaves Toronto absolutely heartbroken after coming within two outs of a championship.

It was a wild ride. But it’s over. Which means it’s time for one last celebration of the 2025 MLB season—the championship parade, slated for Monday, November 3.

As is tradition the Dodgers get to enjoy a championship parade as a reward for all their work. The entire roster, coaching staff, front office, and accompanying family members will pile onto a large group of buses and take a slow tour through downtown Los Angeles. Hundreds of thousands of Dodgers fans will attend and cheer on their favorite team after a playoff run for the ages. It will produce plenty of viral moments and lifelong memories for those involved.

Here’s how you can follow along, whether you’re watching from home or planning to trek alongside Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and the other Dodgers stars on the ground in Los Angeles.

What time is the Dodgers’ World Series parade?

The Dodgers’ World Series parade is slated to kick off at 11 a.m. PT, or 2 p.m. ET. This is about the standard start time for a championship parade and it’s slated to last about 45 minutes.

How to watch the Dodgers’ World Series parade

Those living in Los Angeles have a multitude of options to enjoy the parade on television.

On the local station front, on Fox 11 will be live at the parade throughout. Other local stations covering the parade will be NBC 4, KTLA 5, ABC 7, KCAL 9, CBS 2, Spectrum SportsNet LA and Spectrum News 1.

For those around the country who want to watch but don’t enjoy such easy access to local programming, Major League Baseball has ensured a multitude of viewing options. The parade will be streamed live on Dodgers.com, MLB.com, MLB Network, and the MLB App.

Dodgers’ parade route

Hundreds of thousands of fans will choose to celebrate in person. For many it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, even if the Dodgers have won multiple World Series titles recently. For those fans, the parade route will be a key piece of information for Monday’s showcase.

The Dodgers will begin the parade at the intersection of Temple Street and Broadway in downtown Los Angeles. After two blocks west the buses will turn south onto Grand Ave, which will be the longest single stretch of the parade. The Dodgers will slowly drive down Grand Ave and wave to the adoring fans for several blocks until they reach 7th Street, at which point the buses turn west until they hit Figueroa Street. Then the Dodgers turn north; the parade will finish at the intersection of Figueroa and 5th Street.

The team will then head on into Dodger Stadium for more celebrations. Fans can purchase tickets to that separate showcase, which is slated to begin at 12:15 p.m. PT.

There has been plenty of noise at Old Trafford following Manchester United’s bitter defeat to Everton on Monday night, something supporters will hope can be rectified when their side take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this Sunday.

More than anything, a lack of penetration going forward led to a subdued atmosphere as proceedings rolled on, albeit Ruben Amorim has now urged his side to improve as they look to get back to winning ways against the Eagles.

He said in his pre-match press conference: “They are a different club (Crystal Palace) and they are doing things better than us so that is quite simple.

“We play in a different way and they are just doing things better than us. They are doing things really well and they play more in transition than us. We have to look at all of these things when we compare our teams but of course, in every position, we can do so much better.”

Man Utd eyeing move for Newcastle's Tino Livramento

According to CaughtOffside, Manchester United are keen on Newcastle United star Tino Livramento, and they could rival both Arsenal and Manchester City to land the England right-back.

The outlet shed some light on the situation, which read: “City would love to sign Livramento in January. That currently looks unlikely, but it could be a major saga next summer, when we can also expect United and Arsenal to come into the conversation.”

Capable of playing in either full-back position, Livramento has made 90 appearances for Newcastle, scoring once and registering three assists in total.

Fresh back from his latest injury setback, he is valued at around the £80 million mark by the Magpies and could be tempted by the possibility of switching clubs, even if he isn’t exactly agitating for a move elsewhere.

Manchester United have begun to improve under Amorim and will hope they stand a fighting chance of completing a deal. Nevertheless, they may need to fend off some stiff competition to land their man, who is coincidentally six matches unbeaten against the Red Devils.
